Today we’re pleased to review Quickspin’s first ever progressive jackpot slot, a game inspired by fire-breathing Chinese dragons that goes by the name of Dragon Chase slot. Interestingly, this game is going to be released in two different versions – the standard Dragon Chase slot and the more volatile Dragon Chase Rapid version, each of which will be linked to separate jackpots. Dragon Chase slot features

Dragon Chase is a 5-reel slot with 20 paylines. Symbols on the reels include 10, J, Q, K and Ace royals, ingots, golden rings, golden frogs and dragons. There’s also a Wildfire symbols, which functions as a wild and replaces all other symbols except for the scatter.

During the Dragon Chase base game, you can randomly trigger the Wildfire feature, and between 1 and 5 Wildfire symbols will land on the reels. They will stay in place and move 1 position down with every spin until they drop off. Thanks to this feature,  you may get up to 10 Wildfire symbols at a time on the reels, which can be quite rewarding as these symbols also pay out 2.5, 12.5 or 50 times the stake for a 3, 4, or 5 symbol combination.

Dragon Chase slot also comes with a free spins bonus which you can trigger by landing on 3 scatters on reels 2, 3 and 4. It still remains to be seen whether Quickspin will deliver with its first jackpot slot. There’s nothing particularly original about Dragon Chase, although it’s got a good balance of features and an attractive, popular theme. However, knowing that there’s a daily jackpot waiting to be won from the Rapid version is very intriguing, and the win potential sounds rather promising.
