The International Gaming Awards 2023 name their Innovator of the Year – Yggdrasil. This is the seventh time the company has received an award from this prestigious event.
The ceremony was held at the Savoy Hotel in London, and brought together the best of both online and land-based gambling. The Innovator of the Year award recognises how innovative a company has been during the past year and how they thought outside the box to create new and exciting gaming experiences.
A Growing Games Selection Brings the Gold
Highlighted as the reasons behind Yggdrasil’s win are the company’s focus on delivering immersive and innovative content, as well as innovative Game Engagement Mechanics (GEMs) and pioneering YG Masters program. Then there are the games, which include upcoming titles such as Neon Villains DoubleMax and a sequel to the Irish-themed Lucky Mushrooms.
“The IGA Innovator of the year award is a fantastic achievement and great start of ICE 2023,” Yggdrasil CEO Björn Krantz says. “This is our seventh innovation award, and I am very proud of our Yggdrasil team! The iGaming landscape continues to change at a rapid pace and this award is yet further proof of that Yggdrasil continues to disrupt the industry with leading innovations.”
