What Are the Age Limits?
- Aged 25 and over: Maximum stake allowed per game cycle is £5. This means you can bet up to £5 per spin on online slots.
- Aged 18 – 24: Maximum stake per game cycle is £2. This means You’ll only be able to stake up to £2 per spin.
What Does Game Cycle Mean?
A simple way of thinking of the game cycle is that the game cycle begins when you make your bet and ends when the results are settled, whether you win or lose.
When Do These Limits Start?
The new stake limits will be phased in between April and May:
- From 9 April 2025: All players aged 25 and over will be subject to the £5 stake limit.
- From 21 May 2025: The £2 stake limit will apply to players aged 18 to 24.
