One of the most well-known game providers in the online casino industry, Microgaming, has taken a step towards supporting more charities in 2021.
Preceding a donation that Microgaming made to the Gordon Moody Foundation last year – a foundation helping gambling-addicted manage their addiction through treatment and therapy services – the game provider made many other contributions this year.
The contributions were made in support of not only individuals, especially women, addicted to gambling, but also families impacted by their loved ones’ gambling addictions.
Microgaming has offered support to a number of different digital projects, including offering financial support for GamCare National Helpline’s month-long campaign earlier this year (2021).
The slot provider also extended financial support towards the creation of educational videos for the mental health charity The Beacon Trust, as well as the Young Gamers and Gamblers Education Trust.
Microgaming’s PlayItForward CSR programme is now in its seventh year running and has made it one of its top priorities to continue to support both local and international community projects.
The popular game provider’s CEO, John Coleman, expressed, “We’re proudly standing in solidarity with all areas of our industry to support the Safer Gambling Week initiative, with a calendar of events to promote the Responsible Gambling message across our business. Of course, it’s a conversation our industry should be having all year around, and one which we are committed to being a part of.
I’m proud we have been able to support the invaluable work of a range of gambling-related research, education, and treatment charities throughout 2021.”
The leading game provider – well-known for slots like Immortal Romance, Book of Oz, and Mega Moolah, which you can play at many of the best online casinos in our catalogue – has also shown a tremendous initiative in areas such as sports and health through its CSR programme and only hopes to continue to extend its reach.
