Kindred Group, the owner of Unibet, Bingo.com, Maria Casino, and 32Red names current Head of Corporate Development & Investor Relations Patrick Kortman as interim CFO.
The news comes a month after Johan Wilsby announced he is leaving Kindred – specifically a few days before then CEO Henrik Tjärnström left the company after 13 years at the helm.
“I am very pleased that Patrick has agreed to take on the role as Interim CFO at Kindred,” interim CEO Nils Andén remarks. ” Patrick knows Kindred very well and has a vast experience from the financial sector, and he will continue to bring great value to Kindred’s financial operations, to the wider Executive Team, and to the Board as we continue to focus on the strategic review.”
Further Changes in the Kindred C-Suite
As well as the interim CFO, Kindred has announced a couple of more interim appointments to its executive team. First, Chief of Staff Usha Ganesan takes the position of interim Chief Finance Operations Officer. Secondly, the role of interim Chief Commercial and Marketing Officer will be taken by UK General Manager Neil Banbury.
The company says all these appointments will remain as interim until a strategic review. We can’t tell when the results of this review will be published, but Kindred should release its interim 2023 trading results on 25 July 2023.
