One of the most renowned game providers in the industry,Yggdrasil, celebrated its fifth title-win in a row at the annual International Gaming Awards in London earlier in September.
Yggdrasil, which is well-known for popular slot titles such as Vikings Go Berzerk, Vikings Go To Hell, and Gem Rocks among others, was named Slot Provider of the Year at this year’s IGA, which makes it the fifth year in a row the renowned game provider has taken home a prize at the event.
The CEO of Yggdrasil, Fredrik Elmquist expressed his excitement about the recent win with the following statement, “We are very proud to win this accolade as we have been working hard and very focused over the last 12 months to improve our offering and cement our position as one of the industry’s leading slot suppliers.”
Exciting new innovations
Over the past year, Yggdrasil has worked hard to expand its slot catalogue with exciting slot innovations.
Many of these innovations incorporate Yggdrasil-exclusive bonus features like Gigablox, where the reels within a slot expand into stacked blocks of up to 6×6 for increased win potential, and Splitz, which provides better scatter symbols, more ways to win, and longer paylines.
Some of Yggdrasil’s most popular releases – many of which boast of RTP rates above 95% – can be found at many of the online casinos listed in our catalogue of reviews.
