Flutter’s UK and Ireland division – aka Flutter UKI – is looking for a “high potential startup” to help it better serve the needs of female players.Â
The search will be led by Flutter UKI’s well-known brands, namely Paddy Power, Betfair, and Sky Betting and Gaming, and is part of the company’s Alpha Hub program.Â
According to Flutter, product ideas must be tailored to women’s “unique” playstyle. As the company puts it, women discover games through social circles, which means a need for social and community gaming.Â
How can one better serve female gamers?
Such a gaming solution must be a “digital entertainment destination that focuses on helping customers to unwind, have fun, and relax.” Startups can also go for the “wildcard option” with ideas that don’t fit this brief. Here, companies can submit solutions on creating entertaining gambling experiences for female customers both now and in the future.Â
Of course, one might ask what startups will get if they partner with Flutter. The answer is not only the opportunity to scale their product across the UK and Ireland, but also a chance to demonstrate their business to investors on a demo day, access to workshops and networking with Flutter leadership, and support through Alpha Hub Startup Support.Â
Applications are open, and will close on 15th March 2024.Â
